The Aberdeen Chorus of Sweet Adelines International is a chorus of around 80 women from Aberdeen, Scotland who sing in four part harmony a cappella style. It is one of the top women's barbershop choruses in the UK having won the UK Championships no fewer than 6 times.

If you are a woman aged 14 or over who loves to sing then consider joining us! New members are always welcome and we encourage you to come for a visit to find out more.  The Aberdeen Chorus rehearses on Monday nights from 7.30 pm – 10.00 pm all year round in the Northern Lights Room at the Beach Ballroom. The Aberdeen Chorus falls into Region 31 of Sweet Adelines International which spans Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales and The Netherlands. The chorus competes each year in the Region 31 chorus contest at the annual convention held somewhere within the region.

Sweet Adelines International

Sweet Adelines International is a truly international organisation dedicated to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performance.

To this end the organisation provides an ongoing education programme in both the UK and the USA in which the Aberdeen Chorus is an active participant.
